Little Carson was four days old for his newborn session – you may remember his parents from their MATERNITY SESSION last month. It was wonderful to officially meet him, and I’m obviously a fan of his name! 
He slept like a champ the whole time and was a huge fan of the space heater…
Favorite of the day…love his tiny furrowed brow.
Loved every minute of this session…thanks for sharing your new little guy with me!

For today’s Tell All Tuesday, I thought I’d throw out another setup shot from a recent newborn session. He’s on a beanbag, on my kitchen table, next to the window. I also have my umbrella light set up for fill light.

Wednesday night it snowed a good amount, and we awoke to a white world on Thursday. Unfortunately, Carson is sick so we didn’t enjoy it like otherwise. These images were taken the last time it snowed, on January 11th.
Yes, we are THAT neighbor with summer toys on our porch even though it’s winter.
I just love my little snow bunnies.

During my holiday travels, I was able to visit a dear friend and fellow photographer, Melynda of SWEET AS HONEY PHOTOGRAPHY (Go check her out!). We went to the park and she let me play around with her 5d. Mmmm…I was hooked! A couple weekends ago I was able to upgrade to an original 5d myself, and I’m loving it. Here are a few of her adoooorable little girl, Miss B, on the swings…and if you’re in the Las Vegas area, book a session with Melynda! She’s amazing. Seriously.

If you don’t follow Kristen Cook, run your little fingers over to her WEBSITE and BLOG right now! She has been one of my biggest inspirations since I got started in photography. When I grow up, I want to be a fraction of the photographer she is. Anyway, each January she does a photo-a-day of her children, and the images are to die for. While I’m afraid I won’t be doing a photo-a-day any time soon, I like this image I caught of my Cami this week and thought I’d share.
