The S family is one of my very favorites! And it sure is fun to photograph such a gorgeous (and photogenic!) family in their outrageously gorgeous home.
It’s also fun to do a lifestyle session now and then. This session was shot using all natural light and a mix of my 50 1.4 and 85 1.8 lenses.

Time to get silly!

I adore this whole mama-son series…

Ginger is a talented photographer based in the Denver area – see her work here: http://gingerksnyder.com/blog/. She needed an updated headshot and I happily obliged! You’re smokin’ Ginger!

Thanks again S family!

Here are a couple shots I got of my husband’s brother’s family while we were in Camarillo, California over Christmas break. They are a gorgeous group, eh??

Love you guys!!

Hey photographers…can you remember the last time you did a session for a family of EIGHT and got multiple shots with everyone looking perfectly at the camera, smiling?? Yeah, me neither. But this is a special family, so it figures. This stunning family is my husband’s uncle’s family, and we love them so much! We were able to spend time with them during our Christmas break and I was able to do a quick session at their beautiful home in California.

Yeah, NOT supposed to look this great after six kids!

We sure love these cousins!

Major hair envy going on!

Mary helped us take our extended family shot at the beach, and I snapped a few of her and cute cousin M before the sun went down.

We miss you guys already!

The V family was my last session of the year (so it’s fitting I’m posting it on the last DAY of the year – happy new year everyone!). This session was a dream…it was set up as a surprise for their mother’s birthday. I arrived to a simply gorgeous family ready to be captured in a simply gorgeous space (Lumen Private Event Space in downtown St. Louis, which Mom owns – CHECK IT OUT!). I had so much fun capturing this family’s love for each other, which was really apparent.Recognize little cutie Ayven from her 1-year session last Spring?

The whole crew…told you they’re gorgeous!

Mom with her kiddos.

You can tell this little girl has everyone wrapped around her finger, and for good reason – she’s so sweet and adorable!

Wow, what a gorgeous couple, am I right?!

The ladies…

Mom with her boys.

Dad’s turn.

Love this candid moment!

Fav.

Ayven will be a big sister next year!

And a good one, I think.

Thanks again, V family!!

The R family is not only GORGEOUS and fabulously stylish, it’s made up of wonderful people we love. You may recognize them from their awesome session LAST YEAR. Here’s this year’s version. Just as I expected, they rocked it.

Such a gorgeous couple, eh?!

Thanks for watching my kids for my sessions, cute friend!

The G family is a close friend of our family – and they added baby Sydney to their crew just about a month after Chelsea was born. It goes without saying that they are gorgeous (new moms are not supposed to be so put together!), but they are really awesome on the inside too.
Baby girl conked out for the session.

Thanks G family…

Merry Christmas and happy holidays from my family to yours. Thank you to my clients, friends and family for a wonderful 2011 – and here’s to a great 2012!

I hope you all have a great day tomorrow…I know I’ll be remembering the real reason for this time of year and be squeezing my little ones even more than usual.
*Thanks for clicking this family shot, Lissa!

Here are some of my favorites from the S family’s Mini Session back in October.
I just love this playful series.

Thanks for the fun times, S family!
